FREESTYLE SKATING

Freestyle sessions provide skaters of all ages and skill levels with dedicated ice time to practice individually or participate in private or group lessons. Please note that these sessions are exclusively for figure skaters and private lessons and are not open to the public as general Public Skating sessions.

All coaches must be pre-approvaed by the Skating Directors prior to teaching during QCS Freestyle sessions. Guest coaches must sumite Proof of Liability Insurance, PSA Membership & USFS membership. All coaches must check in at the front desk prior to taking the ice. Queen City Sportsplex reserves the right to deny teaching privileges at their discretion. For approval, please email Lisa Butler.

COACHES ICE

Queen City Sportsplex is now offering the opportunity for private coaching and lessons during our designated Coaches Ice sessions. For each session, up to 4 coaches may be on the ice, and up to 5 skaters per coach. All coaches must register at the Front Desk prior to session to let the ice staff know what nets they need and all skaters and goalies must pay the fee at the Front Desk prior to hitting the ice. Coaches Ice is on a first come, first served basis, registration is done in person, and not online.

Basketball & Volleyball Drop-In

Join us for a 2-hour drop-in session for basketball or volleyball. This option is perfect for players looking to get extra reps, play casually, or jump into open play without a long-term commitment.

• Price: $10 per player
• Session Length: 2 hours

Players must bring their own basketball or volleyball. Balls will not be provided.

Drop-in time is intended for individual use and casual open play only. This is not designated time for private training, team practices, organized coaching sessions, or reserved court use.

Participants ages 12 and under must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older

All participants must check in at the front desk upon arrival. Please review the schedule before purchasing to confirm available drop-in times.

Drop-in availability may vary based on previously scheduled rentals, leagues, tournaments, or facility events.

Reserve a private full court rental for basketball or volleyball at Queen City Sportsplex. This rental provides exclusive court access for your group and is ideal for games, team practices, training sessions, open play, small group workouts, or private events.

Please select whether you are renting the court for basketball or volleyball during checkout so our staff can prepare the court properly.

All participants must check in at the front desk upon arrival and must have a completed QCS Release and Waiver of Liability on file before participating.

Rental time includes setup, play, and cleanup. Please be ready to exit the court at the end of your reserved time so the next rental can begin as scheduled.

Half Court Basketball Rental – 1 Hour

Reserve a half basketball court at Queen City Sportsplex for private practice, shooting workouts, small group training, or casual play.

This rental includes 1 hour of half-court access and is limited to a maximum of 4 players. It is a great option for individual players, coaches, trainers, or small groups looking for dedicated court time.
